Please see below for information on synchronizing the connection and setting synchronization using commands. PBZ series supports trigger synchronization for turning the output on/off and starting the sequence, as well as clock synchronization to ensure correct timing for operation execution.
Connection:
– Connect the TRIG OUT terminal of the master unit and the TRIG IN terminal of the slave units at the rear panel.
– Connect the 10 MHz OUT terminal of the master unit and the 10 MHz IN terminal of the slave units at the rear panel.
Settings:
Set the PBZ’s synchronization operation mode (master/slave) using the command of SYST:CONF:SYNC:OPER. This is different from the setting of the PBZ’s parallel operation mode (master/slave).
Commands:
– Command of SYST:CONF:SYNC:OPER
SYSTem:CONFigure:SYNC:OPERation
{OFF|MASTer|SLAVe|STERmination}
– The query command
SYSTem:CONFigure:SYNC:OPERation?
– Parameter value
OFF: No synchronization (default)
MASTer: Master unit
SLAVe: Slave unit
STERmination: Slave end unit
(Response: Returns the synchronization operation mode in
