Please see below for information on synchronizing the connection and setting synchronization from the panel. PBZ series supports trigger synchronization for turning the output on/off and starting the sequence, as well as clock synchronization to ensure correct timing for operation execution.
Connection:
– Connect the TRIG OUT terminal of the master unit and the TRIG IN terminal of the slave units at the rear panel.
– Connect the 10 MHz OUT terminal of the master unit and the 10 MHz IN terminal of the slave units at the rear panel.
Settings:
Set the PBZ’s synchronization operation mode (master/slave). This is different from the setting of the PBZ’s parallel operation mode (master/slave).
– Press the CONFIG key > CONFIG [3] > SYNCHRONOUS > OPERATION > choose MASTER (master unit), SLAVE (slave unit) or SLAVE(E) (slave end unit).
– Synchronize the sequence
Specify the program number to the master and slave units by pressing the RUN/PAUSE key or the STOP key. Then, press the RUN/PAUSE key on the master unit to start the synchronization operation.
For the details, read the user’s manual – chapter of External Control, Parallel Operation, and Synchronization – Synchronization Feature.
