Mr. B reached to a battery tester lineup at Kikusui Electronics web site and eventually found PFX2500 Series. He learned from other engineers that PFX Series has been renowned for precise measurement on secondary batteries with ease. He was urged to contact with the Kikusui for further information.
After discussing with Kikusui sales about the issue Mr. B had been facing, Kikusui offered him a demonstration model on loan for his evaluation.
“PFX2500 Series integrates complicated systems into one unit by combining the conventional DC power supply for charging and DC electronic load for discharging, that enabled us to carry out easily for the battery comprehensive measurement such as voltage, current and capacity”, said Mr. B. Seamless charge/discharge switching could be realized at the PFX2500 Series by the simultaneous control of the power supply and the electronic load. “It was possible to configure the system by ourselves. Introduction cost was able to be reduced by selecting DC power supply and electronic load which meets charge/discharge test condition required. This allowed us to have a test system at minimum cost. Moreover, we can change the system configuration for future power requirement”, said Mr. B
